Beginning on August 1st and lastin until the 10th, the 4. China Workshop took place at the Hoover Institute in cooperation with the Freie Universität. This workshop's titel was 'Transition and Transformation: China in the Twentieth Century' and featured speakers from the USA, Great Britain, China and Germany, who presented their research and analyses.
