Berliner China-Studien

The series of academic volumes entitled Berliner China-Studien was founded by Kuo Heng-yü in 1983. Mechthild Leutner has been editor-in-chief since 1995. Now consisting of fifty volumes, the series is published by LIT Verlag Berlin, Hamburg, New York, Münster, and offers young scientists and academics, in particular, an opportunity to publish their Masters’ theses and dissertations on current or historical China-related topics.

Berliner China-Hefte / Chinese History and Society

The Berliner China-Hefte / Chinese History and Society, published twice a year by LIT Verlag, Münster, is one of the few China-related journals published in Germany. The key areas of interest are China-related research within the framework of history and the social sciences and the debate on the methodologically-oriented problems of the discipline. In addition to academic contributions by German and international authors, each issue presents conference reports and reviews.

CHUN – Chinese Language Teaching

Dr Andreas Guder is chairman of the Fachverband Chinesisch e.V (Chinese Association) and editor of “CHUN-Chinese Language Teaching”, the journal on teaching and language which has been published annually since 1984 by iudicium Verlag, Munich. In addition to academic contributions related to Chinese language and teaching in all sectors of education throughout the German speaking countries, CHUN also publishes reviews and conference reports originating from the constantly expanding research field of ”Chinese as a foreign language”.
