Victoria Mummelthei

I want to be frank: After many years of experience in the field of academic advising in both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, I have found that the best way for me to support you is by e-mail. Not only can I take the time to think through your concerns thoroughly - you also have everything you need in writing at your fingertips.

So feel free to write to me at victoria.mummelthei@fu-berlin.de. I will answer your questions promptly and in detail. For thesis projects, we can of course also arrange a personal meeting - online or on site - after prior exchange by e-mail.

PS: I have discontinued the traditional consultation hours in favor of this more direct form of consultation. I am happy to invest the time gained in thoughtful responses to your emails.

Important: In March, August and September, I do not answer e-mails and do not offer consultation hours.

Please use our office hours primarily for thesis consulting. Regarding transfers of ECTS etc., please inquire via email and prepare the relevant documents beforehand – it's the more efficient way!

The ISME office is usually closed in March and September so that mails sent to ISME in this time will be answered the month after.

In the time of application review (May–July), we prioritize emails concerning the application process so that answers to ISME-related questions by students already enrolled may take longer than usual.

We process transfers of ECTS twice a semester: in the winter semester in November and February, in the summer semester in May and July. Please also note that the study and examination offices currently require up to six weeks for processing.

In the winter semester 2024, the following scholars will teach a course in the module "Interdisciplinary Perspectives":

In former semesters, the following scholars have taught courses in the module "Interdisciplinary Perspectives":

Ammar Kandeel, Mohamad Moustafa Alabsi, Okcan Yildirimturk, Toygun Altintas, Erol Saglam, Ezgi Saritas, Ken Chitwood; Jovo Miladinovic; Viktor Ullman; Johannes Stephan; Mahmoud Al Zayed; Theodore S. Beers; Achim Rohde.
