M. Xenia Kudela, project coordinator, also manages the central database for Closing the Gap in Non-Latin Script Data, Berlin University Alliance, and the training and professional development programs of the project.

Her interests encompass both natural languages and human creativity, as well as technology, computer science, and data science. These interests are reflected in her academic pursuits and research, where she explores the application of cutting-edge technologies to enhance research in the humanities, while also tackling the issue of the increasing underrepresentation of languages and cultures of the Global South resulting from the digitalization of linguistic resources and research practices.
