Do you have previous knowledge of Chinese and would like to continue your language studies as part of the MA Global East Asia master's program in the coming winter or summer term? Then please take the placement test.
For the winter semester 2024/25, the placement test for students with prior knowledge of Chinese will take place on October 8 at 10:15AM. Please be at the building at Fabeckstrasse 23-25 (14195 Berlin) on the second floor of the Institute for Chinese Studies on time, from where we will walk together to the test room.
The test takes about 60-90 minutes and consists of three parts, testing your listening (Section 1) and writing (Section 2, filling in the blanks and Section 3, writing a text in Chinese).

| Note: Students of Chinese Studies at FU Berlin are exempt from the Chinese language placement test, as they have already completed the requisite coursework. |
