AnonymClassic team members Khouloud Khalfallah and Theodore S. Beers present about manuscript metadata on the workshop at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Preußischer Kulturbesitz.
Since 2020, the DFG-funded project “Orient-Digital” has been working to make Oriental manuscript collections in Germany accessible in the new portal “Qalamos: Connecting Manuscript Traditions”. For more than two years, the long-term research project “Bibliotheca Arabica” at the Saxon Academy of Sciences and Humanities has been building an extensive bio-bibliographical research database of Arabic manuscripts.
The workshop <Author><Title><Place>: Authority Records and Manuscripts in Libraries and Research, held at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin from 27 to 29 October, 2021 was convened by Michaela Hoffmann-Ruf, Daniel Kinitz, Colinda Lindermann, Christoph Rauch.
