We are delighted to welcome Lea Börgerding to the team of Reaching the People as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate. In her project, she will be working on connections and communications between socialist women's groups during the 20th century, focusing specifically on East Germany (GDR) and Vietnam between 1950-1975. Prior to joining the Emmy Noether Research Group at Freie Universität Berlin, Lea completed a MPhil degree in International Relations at the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics with International Relations at the University of York.
