Another great news for potential and fellow students at the FU Berlin:

According to the annually QS World University Ranking, Freie Universität is not only once again one of the top six universities in Germany, but also earns worldwide recognition with the major in Archaeology ranked number 13 around the globe.

Ranked 130 worldwide, the university has proofed its excellent academic as well as research reputation among international competitors.

The highest ranked German university is Technical University Munich at Rank 61 worldwide. The other top German universities are Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, the University of Heidelberg, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Six criterions were used for the yearly eveluation: the academic reputation of the institution, the number of citations by researchers, the ratio between students and faculty, the reputation of graduates among employers, and the international composition of faculty and students.
