CtG team lead Dr. Theodore S. Beers will join Drexel University this fall, to work on the project "Development of a Platform for Accessible Data-Intensive Science and Engineering," funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation. At Drexel, this project represents a collaboration between the College of Engineering and the College of Computing and Informatics. The goal is to develop and put into practice a system for data management, sharing, and analysis that allows automatic data collection and curation, instant access for computational analysis, and research result sharing for reproducibility. These desiderata cut across many fields, from the hard sciences to the digital humanities. Dr. Beers' role in the project is meant (inter alia) to facilitate participation in the new data engineering platform by researchers from a wide range of backgrounds.

Theodore S. Beers intends to remain a CtG project partner in his new position, thus further expanding the CtG community.
