2019 "Everyday Life and Popular Culture in Taiwan", Förderung zweier Gastaufenthalte taiwanischer Wissenschaftler:
Prof. HUANG Weishan (CUHK): befand sich von April bis Mai 2019 als Gastwissenschaftlerin an unserem Institut und bot einen Kurs „Religions and Belief Systems in Contemporary Taiwan since 1945" an und hielt einen Vortrag „The Analysis of Gender and Space among Buddhist Communities in Shanghai – an Overview and the Impact of Transnational Taiwanese Religious Movements”".
Prof. Chang Lung-chih (Academia Sinica) war von Oktober bis November 2019 Gastwissenschaftler am Institut für Sinologie / Chinastudien und unterrichtete den Kurs „Island of Memories: Culture and Society in Contemporary Taiwan” für Masterstudierende der Chinastudien und der Global History.
