The research project "Changing Concepts of Religion from Traditional to Modern Chinese, 1890-1949" is being funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) since 1 August 2020. It is conducted by Prof. Dr. Christian Meyer together with Dr. Eugenia Werzner and Richard Ellguth, MA.

This project is part of the larger project "Mapping Religion in China - Changing Concepts of Religion from Traditional to Modern Chinese". It is related to a conferences series on changing terminology on religion in Chinese language.
