Korea Focus is a working paper series published by the Institute of Korean Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. It serves as a platform for the timely dissemination of research results prior to a full article or book chapter stage and thereby to foster a comprehensive understanding of political, economic, and socio-cultural affairs on the Korean Peninsula and beyond. Korea Focus also aims to strengthen academic engagement with the Korean peninsula and broaden both, the scope of existing research and current discourse in Europe.
