On Thursday 14 July, 16:30-18:00, Dr. Reinaldo Funes-Monzote, Professor of History at the University of Havana, will give the keynote lecture in the international workshop "Livestock as Global and Imperial Commodities: Economies, Ecologies and Knowledge Regimes, c. 1500–Present", organised by the Commodities of Empire research project (British Academy) in collaboration with the Commodifying Cattle research project (DFG), Free University of Berlin, 14–15 July 2022.

The lecture titled "Livestock and Commodity Frontiers in Latin America since Colonial Times to the Present" will be streamed online (webex) and is open to all interested students and scholars.
