Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Government at Georgetown University. I received my PhD from the University of California, Berkley in Political Science. Prior to that, I receive an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and my BS from the London School of Economics. I've received grants from the American Council of Learned Societies and the Mellon Foundation, and my work has been published in the Oxford Handbook of Thucydides.

In the academic year 2017/18, I am a Research Fellow at Freie Universität Berlin, working with the research group "Bewegung als Prinzip" on different aspects of Thucydides' History.
