I am an ancient historian and epigrapher, and have a focus on integrating textual evidence with material and visual sources. My research interests lie in the religious, social, political, and cultural history of the wider Mediterranean region from the Archaic to the later Roman imperial period. My work to date has been mostly concerned with non-urban areas of the Athenian polis, Greek and Roman religion, calendars, time reckoning, astrology and astral beliefs, and the Greek East under Roman rule.
