Latest excavation results from Tell Ushayer (Jordan)

A new article presents the latest results of the ongoing Freie Universität Berlin project at the Tell Ushayer site in Jordan. The project began in 2018 and has demonstrated a multi-period settlement. In particular, the site offers great potential for understanding the dynamics of the Iron Age in northern Jordan. This preliminary report provides insights into the monumental Iron Age fortification system and the settlement sequence in the wider regional context.
