First hybrid workshop on data protection, organised for Ombudspersons by the research project "OBUA - Ombudswesen@BUA"
The workshop is open to all Ombudspersons of the Berlin research area and will take place at FU Berlin and online via Cisco Webex.
The workshop will consolidate and expand on existing knowledge on the topic of data protection and will furthermore test this knowledge practically through the discussion of concrete cases. At the same time, the goal of the workshop is to initiate a discussion on good scientific practice in universitary processes from the perspective of the participants.
The workshop is being organised as a cooperation of the OBUA – Ombudswesen@BUA project, funded by the Berlin University Alliance (Scientific project directress: Dr. Simona Olivieri - Freie Universität Berlin) and the AUTO – Automatisierte Fehlverhaltensprüfung: Einsatz und Effekte digitaler Tools zur Untersuchung von wissenschaftlichem Fehlverhalten project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Scientific project directress: Dr. Felicitas Heßelmann - Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin).
