The ERC Project PalREAD - Country of Words is inviting those interested to our Mapathon with Majd Al-Shihabi from Palestine Open Maps.

Majd Al-Shihabi, the inaugural Bassel Khartabil Free Culture Fellow, is a system design engineer focusing on the role of technology in urban systems and policy design.

An interactive hands-on workshop where you will learn about open mapping tools and extracting data from Mandate-era maps of Palestine.No experience necessary, just bring along your fully charged laptop. Participants will need to register until Nov. 25th via e-mail.
