Minho Jo is an academic manager in King Sejong Institute Berlin and PhD candidate at the Institute of Korean Studies at Freie Universität Berlin as well. He has studied and worked in various fields in many regions. After graduating from an undergraduate degree in humanities in Korea, he studied international relations and international business in the U.S, and worked in the business industry for a long time as global marketing director and business strategy counselor in both Korea and the U.S..

He also has expanded the scope of his studies to Korean language education as a foreign language and has been working for teaching Korean language & culture since 2021. He joined the Institute for Korean Studies at Freie Universität Berlin in 2024 as both Ph.D candidate in the field of international politics and as the academic manager of the King Sejong Institute in Berlin as well.

His research interests include geopolitical International relations research surrounding the Korean peninsular, aspects of domestic conflict in South Korea, new global strategies of South Korean companies, contents based Korean language learning and business Korean language studies.
