Our colleague Dr. Shervin Farridnejad, who has been working as a member of the academic staff at the Institute of Iranian Studies since 2016, has been appointed to the professorship for "Iranian Studies" at the University of Hamburg and the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC ) / Cluster of Excellence Understanding Written Artefacts and will leave our Institute on 31 August 2022. We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Farridnejad for the very good and constructive cooperation over the past six years and wish him all the best for the future in Hamburg!
