She was awarded for her habilitation thesis located at the interface of medical and military history. The study "Nerves, War and Military Leadership. Mentally ill officers in Germany 1890-1939" examines how the military, psychiatry, politics and society dealt with mentally ill military leaders between the German Empire and National Socialism.

The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, 14 October 2021, at 4.30 pm at the University of Potsdam, Am Neuen Palais 10, House 8, Room 1.45 (Audimax).
