Alexander Geppert has been named the Charles A. Lindbergh Chair of Aerospace History at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC for the year 2019–20. As the first European scholar receiving this honor, he will spend the duration of his stay working on a new book analyzing space history from a global perspective. More info can be found here.
