The related area allows you to attend courses, that are neither part of your core subject nor the integrative area, e.g. further courses within the Ancient Studies program, or courses of Religious Studies, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Ancient History, Medieval History, Modern History and Geographical Sciences. Thus, through the related area you can round out your studies to fit with your interests and deepen topics of Egyptology in an interdisciplinary way. We recommend talking to the Bachelor’s coordinator (BABeauftragte*r) and the lecturer before attending a course intended for the related area.
