I am a classical philologist (MA) with knowledge of Greek, Latin and Sanskrit, as well as a mathematician (BSc). My research as PhD candidate for ZODIAC deals with regional differences and developments in accuracy of astronomical computations in Babylonia, Greece and Egypt from ca. 450 BCE to ca. 300 CE, in relation to scientific, technological and cultural innovations.
