Event 

As part of the Korea Culture Week event jointly hosted by the Institute of Korean Studies and the King Sejong Institute, we have invited typography artist Prof. Dr. Ahn Sang-soo. Mr. Ahn is showcasing avant-garde typography work based on Hangeul typography. This will be an opportunity to hear from Mr. Ahn about the beauty and philosophy of Hangeul.

After the presentation, there will be a subsequent discussion with Günter Karl Bose (deutscher Gestalter, Herausgeber, Autor und Verleger) on the topic of "Gutenberg and Sang-Soo Ahn".

Invitee

Prof. Dr. Sang-soo Ahn

Korean Typographer and Graphic Designer. He has served as a professor at Hongik University. He primarily works on typography with a focus on Hangeul. In 2007, he received the Gutenberg Prize from the city of Leipzig. In 2013, he established the Paju Typography Institute (PaTI), where he serves as the principal.
