Heejung Kim is a Korean politician with all experience in the political party, government, and presidential office who served as a re-elected national assembly member, a minister, a spokesperson for the Blue House.

She has some records:

She was the first in Korea to be nominated to the National Assembly by a political party through "a public debate", also she holds the record for the youngest female constituency member of the National Assembly and the youngest minister.

Career

- 2004- 2008  Member of the 17th, 19th National Assembly (Electoral District : Yeonje Gu, Busan)

- 2012 - 2016  Vice President of Korea–German Parliamentary Friendship Group            

- 2009 – 2010 Chairperson, Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA)

- 2010 - 2011 Spokesperson, Office of the President (Blue House)

- 2014 – 2016 Minister of Gender Equity and Family

- 2016 – 2020 Distinguished Professor, Graduate School of International Studies(GSIS), Busan National University

- 2021- Vice Chairperson, National Policy Advisory Committee, People Power Party

- 2022 Advisor, Planning and Coordination Division of The Presidential Transition Committe
