The Institute of Korean Studies at Freie University of Berlin is accepting applicants for 1 PhD scholarship and 1 Postdoc Fellowship in the field of Korean Studies and East Asian Studies for the summer semester 2017 for a year. These scholarships are funded through the Academy of Korean Studies for the joint research project “Transcoding” by the Institut for Korean Studies, Freie University Berlin und the Department of Koreanistik, Ruhr-University Bochum.

We are especially interested for PhD candidates and Postdoc researcher whose research relates to culture/cultural studies and social changes. €12,000 per annum for PhD / €18,000 for Postdoc. ...
